As 2019 winds down, here are the main issues that faced the trucking industry this year according to a survey conducted by the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI). As expected, driver compensation was the most critical issue in the trucking industry for commercial drivers in 2019. The top issue for motor carriers was finding drivers due to a driver shortage.
