As a Guttman Energy representative waited for repairs to be performed on his vehicle, a sidebar conversation among the owners of Stickles Towing caught his attention. The essence of the dialogue was that Stickles Towing had become dissatisfied with its fleet fuel card provider, experiencing a lack of communication and support. After explaining the Guttman Energy approach to customer attention and sustained personal involvement by its representatives, the conversation quickly moved to exploring a new relationship.

Stickles Towing wanted to end its prior fleet fuel card relationship and move to a business credit-style account to earn points. By explaining the Guttman Energy Fleet Fuel Card program in straightforward, frank, and honest terms—including the customer service and support commitment—Stickles Towing agreed to make the conversion, bringing its eight-vehicle fleet and its annual fuel consumption of 150,000 gallons to Guttman Energy.
