3.14 – Most commonly known and celebrated as National Pi Day, Pi is the most studied number in mathematics. This Greek letter (π) was used as the symbol to represent the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter (pi) 317 years ago by a Welsh mathematician, Williams Jones. Pi, an irrational and infinite number, is an integral component to both mathematics and science, including geometry, physics and astronomy. Coincidently, March 14th is also famous scientist, Albert Einstein’s birthday, which, in turn, became International Ask a Question Day.
“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” – Albert Einstein
International Ask a Question Day focuses on the importance of curiosity, asking questions, and encouraging learning. The more questions asked about a topic, the more you will educate yourself and become a subject matter expert. However, digging deeper into a specific topic accomplishes much more than just educating yourself. Asking questions also allows people to solve problems, set goals, build stronger relationships and aid in making key decisions.
Today, and every day, we at Guttman Energy encourage our customers to reach out to your sales representative (your teacher, per se) and ask a question. We, here, work hard to educate our customer partners to grow and build upon win-win relationships we value.
What is Guttman Renewables (Guttman’s newest division), what do they have to offer, and how can they help my company with our sustainability goals?
What are the different program options Guttman offers to customers?
How are current events and market movements effecting the supply/demand of fuel?
With many hard-working experts internally, we are dedicated to providing you with knowledgeable, accurate answers that allow you to make well-educated decisions for your business. Reach out today!
