POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The inside sales position is located in the Belle Vernon, PA office. The candidate is responsible for prospecting and selling fleet card services to regional trucking companies located in the core marketing area. The function of the position is to initiate phone contact with trucking companies, begin to uncover needs, and build a plan to convert their existing fleet cards to Fuelman or Pacific Pride. The representative will handle new account set ups including credit applications, card orders, and various account maintenance functions. This position is a non-exempt position and reports to the VP, Fleet Card Sales.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cold call commercial fleet businesses over the phone to uncover new prospective candidates for Guttman fleet card services, with additional prospecting processes that include email communication and periodic face-to-face scheduled meetings.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the fleet card industry, competitors’ product offerings, and the specific fueling needs of trucking companies with 10 to 100 vehicles.
  • Schedule conference calls and in-person appointments with owners, CFO’s, and transportation managers to assess existing program and develop and market a sales plan to convert their business.
  • Utilize effective telephone prospecting skills and contact a maximum number of fleets during standard business hours Monday through Friday.
  • Maintain and update all contact information and prospecting notes within the CRM system.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and the 5 Guttman Group core brand attributes to customers, prospects, and employees (Trustworthy, Knowledgeable, Personal, Innovative, and Responsive).
  • Manage daily tasks efficiently to maximize prospecting activities over the phone.
  • Effectively manage active accounts including new card creation, report generation, pricing, and invoicing questions.
  • Review and complete credit applications prior to submission to credit department to streamline the credit approval process.
  • Responsible for acquiring new fleet card customers on a consistent basis, after the initial training period.
  • Provide quality service by communicating clearly and professionally to customers, department employees, and management.
  • Make contact and manage multiple prospects through effective communication and follow up with contacts until a purchase decision is made.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 1-3 years of commercial sales experience and sales presentation experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen to others, express ideas both oral and written, and provide relevant and timely information to clients, managers, etc.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills; Experience working in Windows, Internet Explorer, and MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment with minimal direct supervision
  • Effective critical thinking skills to analyze problems and make responsible business decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of the Petroleum or Energy Industry

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Billing Associate position is responsible for providing billing services for various divisions and/or company within the Guttman Group. The major functions of this position includes completing daily billing services for products delivered, researching carrier load information, data entry, assisting in monthly close processes, and supporting internal and external customers. The Billing Associate is a Non-Exempt position. This position will report to the Manager, Sales & Supply Analytics and will be located in the Belle Vernon, PA Corporate Office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide daily billing services for products delivered to Gas Field Services customers.
  • Ensures billings are accurate and recorded on a timely basis.
  • Sorts incoming billing paper work in logical format to ensure efficient billing process.
  • Verifies the accuracy of invoices received from service providers related to freight, tank rentals, and labor charges.
  • Completes daily scanning and indexing of incoming information.
  • Prepare correspondence and analysis work utilizing Microsoft word and Excel software products.
  • Work as part of a team environment and perform additional duties as defined in the billing process, handle issues and work internally with other departments.
  • Provide excellent service by communicating clearly and professionally to customers, colleagues and management.
  • Complete required functions within established deadlines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited two-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with demonstrated ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing.
  • Strong data entry skills with an aptitude for accuracy and speed.
  • Basic to Intermediate Computer Skills; Experience working in Windows, Internet Explorer and MS-Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environment with minimal direct supervision.
  • Effective critical thinking skills to analyze problems and make responsible business decisions and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of the Petroleum or Energy Industry
