POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Risk Analyst position is a member of Guttman Energy’s commodity risk management team working closely with sales, supply, accounting, and the mid-office teams in assessing, monitoring and reporting financial risk for Guttman Energy’s commodity portfolio.  This is an exempt position and will report to the Corporate Risk Officer located in Bel Air, MD. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Substantiate Enterprise Trading Risk Management system generated P&L.
  • Produce accurate and timely daily trading P&L and risk position reports, assess key drivers, and provide daily management commentary.
  • Develop and validate pricing inputs; and ensure the accuracy and timely entry of curves to value physical and financial positions.
  • Review new business activity, validate accuracy of trade entry and day one P&L, analyze day-over-day changes in physical and financial trading risk positions, determine impacts to P&L, review deal amendments and/or deal cancellations and assess impact to risk positions, portfolio valuation and resulting P&L.
  • Work with the front office to reconcile ETRM system generated P&L and positions with front office estimates.
  • Troubleshoot and work with the appropriate functional area to resolve deal entry, scheduling/actualization, pricing, and/or system issues impacting Risk reports.
  • Reconcile derivative activity with the broker daily.
  • Code and maintain exceptionally complex VBA macros in Excel, update and maintain SQL queries as well as stored procedures. 
  • Work with IT to develop and design analytical tools and improve underlying risk system infrastructure (models, calculations, data flows, reports, etc.)
  • Provide assistance with ad-hoc inquiries and support both the front office and accounting teams with key initiatives and projects.
  • Assist sales, supply, and/or management with analyzing performance within an existing strategy or historical modeling of a proposed sales or supply strategy.
  • Maintain a robust independent trade control environment.
  • Continuously improve and streamline existing processes.
  • Communicate effectively with front office, operations, and finance.

 

MINUMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or AS Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of billing experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years leadership experience in supervising on a departmental basis
  • Proficient computer related skills include knowledge of Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP applications
  • Ability to effectively communicate: orally and written

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Four-year degree from an accredited university in engineering, finance, economics, mathematics or a similar discipline.
    • 1-3 years of experience in commodity risk management
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Advanced knowledge of VBA macros in Excel required.
    • Display exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
    • Strong written, report presentation and verbal communication skills. 
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences
    • Self-starting, team focused attitude.
    • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, and ability to maintain detail-orientation in high-pressure situations.
    • Highly motivated self-starter who is flexible and goal oriented.
    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

      • General understanding of commodity derivatives and energy markets.
      • Knowledge of the petroleum or energy industry.
      • Experience with SQL.
      • Experience with ETRM systems, specifically OpenLink RightAngle.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Logistics Coordinator position is responsible for the safe and efficient routing of company trucks and third-party carriers to satisfy customer delivery requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing order optimization activities, coordinating load assignments to drivers, monitoring customer inventories, managing customer supply obligations, and handling customer communications.  This position will be required to work the 7pm-7am shift. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

       
    • Communicate dispatch assignments to drivers in a timely manner to ensure driver productivity using TMW and TotalMail software

    • Manage customer fuel inventory levels and schedule deliveries to meet our customers’ inventory standards.

    • Assign orders to drivers to meet customer requirements including delivery windows, supply obligations, equipment requirements, special delivery instructions, etc.

    • Identify when order demand in Source One’s geography exceeds available capacity and coordinate with approved common carriers to meet demand expectations.

    • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, drivers, operation managers, and management to resolve logistics and service issues.

    • Monitor driver logs and schedule drivers’ daily activities accordingly to ensure DOT compliance.

    • Ensure driver dispatch assignments and all driver communications support Source One’s safety culture.

    • Schedule inventory managed deliveries based on current tank levels in order not to exceed the ninety percent safe fill level. 

    • Maximize loaded mileage percentage of all dispatched units on a daily basis through route optimization and TMW order analysis.

    • Solicit business from customers when available capacity exceeds demand or to increase loaded miles.

    • Collaborate with Maintenance Managers to schedule preventative maintenance and repair of equipment to maximize truck availability and utilization.

    • Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiencies through better use of drivers, equipment, and technology (TMW).

    • Work as part of a team environment and answer phones, handle customer service issues and work with various internal departments as needed.

    • Provide excellent service by communicating clearly and professionally to customers, colleagues and management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Supply Chain, Transportation or Business Administration from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.

    • 2 years customer service experience preferred.

    • Ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing and provide relevant and timely information to clients, managers, etc. 

    • Ability to understand problems and make timely, practical business decisions

    • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

    • Strong computer skills; Experience working in Windows, Internet Explorer and MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Note: Petroleum industry knowledge experience a plus.

    • Analytical/Problem-solving skills to solve complex logistical ‘puzzles.’

    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

    • Experience in the TMW, PeopleNet, and TotalMail software or related transportation management systems preferred.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Billing Associate position is responsible for providing billing services for various divisions and/or company within the Guttman Group.  The major functions of this position includes completing daily billing services for products delivered, researching carrier load information, data entry, assisting in monthly close processes, and supporting internal and external customers. The Billing Associate is a Non-Exempt position.  This position will report to the Manager, Sales & Supply Analytics and will be located in the Belle Vernon, PA Corporate Office.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide daily billing services for products delivered to Gas Field Services customers.
  • Ensures billings are accurate and recorded on a timely basis.
  • Sorts incoming billing paper work in logical format to ensure efficient billing process.
  • Verifies the accuracy of invoices received from service providers related to freight, tank rentals, and labor charges.
  • Completes daily scanning and indexing of incoming information.
  • Prepare correspondence and analysis work utilizing Microsoft word and Excel software products.
  • Work as part of a team environment and perform additional duties as defined in the billing process, handle issues and work internally with other departments.
  • Provide excellent service by communicating clearly and professionally to customers, colleagues and management.
  • Complete required functions within established deadlines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited two-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills with demonstrated ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing.
  • Strong data entry skills with an aptitude for accuracy and speed.
  • Basic to Intermediate Computer Skills; Experience working in Windows, Internet Explorer and MS-Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).

    Ensure billings are legitimate company transactions and are accurately recorded on a timely basis        
    • Perform necessary analysis to identify root cause of billing issues
    • Reconcile billing records to ensure accuracy
    • Obtain understanding and critical knowledge of the sales department operation
    • Provide critical information to sales department personnel to assist in managing key accounts
    • Implement new procedures with the support of the billing manager
    • Address customer inquiries efficiently and in a timely manner
    • Ensure KPI’s are being met and making improvements
    • Resolve backlog and inaccurate billing problems
    • Research and address credit/rebill requests and make fact based recommendations to resolve recurring issues
    • Work with customer’s accounting department personnel in meeting mandated time frames

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:   

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience
    • Must have strong MS Excel skills: Pivot table and vlookup experience are a must
    • 2 years of billing experience preferred
    • Ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing and provide relevant and timely information to clients, managers, etc. 
    • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
    • Strong computer skills; Experience working in Windows, Internet Explorer and MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Customer Relations Analyst is responsible for all areas of existing customer relations for the Guttman fleet card sales department.  Duties include, but are not limited to, completing new card orders, fulfilling special customer-requested reports, assisting with customer web portal, executing customer account set up changes, managing tasks related to driver and vehicle additions. The candidate will work closely with the Business Development Manager to coordinate new sales and marketing campaigns designed to generate new prospect opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Assist card access fuels (CAF) sales representatives.
  • Create and maintain fuel cards for new and existing customers.
  • Handle customer special reporting needs.
  • Make required changes to existing customer accounts, such as driver identification numbers, adding new vehicles, etc.
  • Utilize various forms of communication, including telephone and email, to communicate with current and prospective customers. 
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service practices at all times.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries concerning invoice copies, reports, site location assistance, etc.
  • Train new customers on navigation and use of the customer web portal.
  • Respond in a professional and timely manner to all customers through various means of communication.
  • Assist Business Development Manager with analysis of sales and market data.   
  • Participate in the fleet card weekly billing process.
  • Analyze transactional data for trends and business opportunities.
  • Work with Business Development Manager to create new business proposal.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.

  • Two years of sales experience.

  • Excellent organization and communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing.

  • Strong data entry skills with an aptitude for accuracy and speed.

  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency; Experience working in Windows, Internet Explorer and MS-Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Knowledge of the Petroleum/Energy industry and fleet card programs
  • 1-2 years of sales experience.
